The summer season is waning out and fall winds are beginning to blow, which can only mean one thing. The 2014 season of Alabama football has begun. After the two-game losing streak that Coach Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide saw at the end of last year’s season, they hope to bounce back and bid for another national championship — for the third year in a row.
Folks are trading out their summer clothes for crimson, white, and hounds tooth duds. According to AL, fans are now getting even more creative on Saturdays with their ‘Bama gear, sporting hounds tooth overalls, elephant costumes, sequined sombreros, and cowboy boots.
For the more casual fans, there are plenty of funny t-shirts, sweatshirts, and jerseys, but a popular favorite will be the gameday shirt that Coach Saban and his staff are wearing.
Aside from their crimson hues and hounds tooth prints, the ladies are accessorizing with bow ties, tiny top hats, and jewelry, showing their Alabama pride down to the very last detail.
Women’s sports jewelry is becoming a trend, and not just in Alabama. According to ABC, NFL fans in Texas aren’t limiting their fan gear to jerseys either. Women are also accessorizing with jewelry like necklaces, earrings, and Pandora bracelets.
According to 5280, the wildly popular jewelry company Pandora, which launched their first jewelry store in Germany in 2006 before branching out with locations in the United States, offers engraved NFL charms.
Pandora bracelets have been a jingly-jangly personalized trend for a few years, but this football season, we’re seeing a huge shift toward sports-themed charms and bracelets. Pandora bracelets are chains or bangle bracelets to which wearers can add a number of different charms, and there are a plethora of different charms in different colors, styles, and designs.
Among them, Alabama fans will find hounds tooth, crimson, and white charms to complete their look (they even have elephants, too).
